Playing Equipment

  1. BATS: Must be made of wood with dimensions no larger than 96.5 cm in length and 10.8 cm in width and have a suitable bat grip. Note: Bat grips must be of a non-slip material and in good order.
  2. Batting Gloves: A batting gloves (which completely covers the hand from the wrist) must be worn on each hand by both batters. If an umpire notices a batter is not wearing two suitable gloves, play must not continue until 2 gloves are worn.
  3. Keepers Gloves: The wickets keeper has the option to wear 0,1 or 2 suitable gloves. The gloves may be wicket keeping or batting gloves, or a combination of both.
  4. Fielding Protection: Players may wear suitable protective equipment when fielding provided the safety of that player and all other players on the court is not compromised.
  5. Balls: The Centre will supply a recognized Indoor Cricket ball for each match.
  6. Stumps: The sumps will be ‘Wilkins’ style collapsible stamps. The base plate is considered to be part of the stumps.
  7. Bail: Bails may be wooden or plastic and must tied to the stumps
